Canvas Basics

This webinar will provide you with an overview of some of the basic features in Canvas. We will show you how to login to Canvas through the NCEdCloud (preferred method) or backdoor login (permission only); global navigation, and course navigation features (i.e., starting a new course, adding people to a course, creating an announcement, assignment, and discussion.

Canvas Intermediate

This webinar will provide you with deeper level of Canvas Learning Management System features. During this webinar, we will explore the rich content editor, customizing pages, modifying modules (prerequisites or requirements).  In addition, we will share tips on assessing students learning through assignments/discussions by adding rubrics, outcomes, or peer reviews. Also, we will demonstrate the new quiz feature and provide an overview of Speedgrader.

Videoconferencing with Microsoft Teams

This webinar will provide you with an overview of how to navigate and utilize Teams for video conferencing with different groups.  This could include PLCs or for use within the classroom setting.

Digital Resources

This webinar will provide participants with available Guilford County Schools digital resources (i.e. Open Education, Discovery Education, Apex Tutorials, and video conferences) that can be used within Canvas Learning Management System.
